Weekend Update

Good relaxing weekend =)

Saturday - slept in, lunch w/ family, hung out with vanessa and tina (who I haven't seen for years). We watched lots and lots of food network. Afterwards I went to a BBQ with my family which was excellent. My uncle makes the best ribs ever. Watched Oceans 12 (which isn't nearly as good as Oceans 11) and then went home and slept.

Sunday - slept in again. went out to lunch with my family again and we ran into Lisa and Leslie. Of course when asian families meet at lunch, they talk forever and ever. But it was lots of fun. Finally went home and hung out with vanessa again. Went to Julia's house for a potluck dinner (I think it was for July 4th, but I'm not sure). We played Taboo, watched Family Guy, and played video games.

Monday - July 4th! In the morning went to get pancake breakfast with my dad at the quinlan (it's a tradition we have for the past who know how long). I saw Nayson, Abih, Cheryl, Alex, and Harold (I think. He was working outside so I didn't get a good look). The food tasted good but it had so much oil and grease. Anyways, afterwards Nayson, Vanessa, and I went to REI to bother suzie, ahem I mean look for camping supplies. We then went to my house and vanessa ate half a watermellon and some chinese noodle thingies which are hard to say in english and even harder to spell in english. Played some video games. Nayson left for Emily's house so Vanessa and I went to hang out at her house. We watched lots of TV and found a place for dinner. After doing generally nothing, we went out to dinner at a Mongolian Barbeque place on Castro in Mountain view. 3 bowls and noodles, 3 egg rolls, and an icecream cone later, we were both done and stuffed. We went to the bookstore across the street and sat around and read childrens' books. Afterwards, we drove to Cupertino (HS) and watched the fireworks. Of course since we are so brilliant, we fergot to bring a blanket/towel to sit on and we didn't wear enough layers. But it was fun anyways as fireworks always are.

I forgot Friday! (technically it wasn't part of the weekend, but that's ok!) - So afterwork, i met up with Vanessa and we went ballroom dancing! It reestablished the fact that I am not graceful, coordinated, flexible, or any other quality that would be beneficial to dancing. But it was still lots of fun! Afterwards we went out to grab some food. mmmm
