SLAC Day 3

11:30- I've been here for almost 4 hours. Let's see what I've done... I read a paper on Molybenum and Copper-Iron Alloys. Then I sat around and surfed the net. I read boingboing, wired, nytimes, Time, popular science, and probably a few more I forgot to note. I ate a bagel. I read another 50 pages of 1984. And that's been my morning.

Does anyone have a good website that has frequent updates for me to read? I really need more content to read. Or can someone find me some work to do here? either way.

ps. I updated my i-pod!

-update-

Now I'm glad to say I have work to do. Imagine a professional art project. There is a 7 foot tube/pipe which needs to be modeled, so I'm making a 1:1 model (meaning it's about 7 feet long) out of styrofoam. It's really kind of cool and I'm excited to see it when it's done.
