TIMEless books
TIME magazine came out with their list of the top 100 English books from 1923 to the present. Many books on it are books we've read in Lit classes, and others I've read on my own. What books do you think should be on the list that aren't? Are there any books that you think should not be on the list?Link

how is east of eden not on there, or cuckoo's nest? but other than that...a good list indeed.
wtf i read "never let me go". was NOT that impressive. and though LOTR's great for what it is... uh, sorry. just don't see it that way. personally, i think 1984 is highly overrated; brave new world is so much better. and i do love c.s. lewis and his narnia series, but... yeah. wouldn't put it on there. and "the moviegoer"? i hated that book. it was shit. yes anyway.
did you mv kids read "things fall apart"? if you didn't, i highly, highly recommend it.
